Hampton Hall

Drives Direct were asked to resurface the existing drive in decorative (golden) gravel whilst also creating a new 400m length drive across open fields to establish safer access to the house.

The client originally asked for our Bonded Gravel System which is a specially formulated polymer bonding agent with selected gravel rolled in.

However the new planning laws determined that tarmac could not be used across the open fields so our Milestone Gravel System was chosen for the new drive to aid porosity and to satisfy the Planners – we were able to match the gravel finish to the new gravel on the existing drive.

The above pictures show Milestone Gravel being used for a new build across a green field to provide a safer access for the owners. It's a good example of Cheshire driveways we have worked on and Cheshire County Council planning department were delighted with the proposal of a porous surfacing as the design solution for the new driveway.
