Bituminous Bonded Gravel
The bituminous bonded gravel system is one of our most versatile products, and offers the client both a hard wearing and attractive finish. It can be used as a repair/maintenance system, in instances where there is an existing macadam surface showing early signs of deterioration.
The process involves the spreading of our polymer modified adhesive onto the existing surface, followed by the application of a 6mm gravel (of choice), brushed evenly throughout and finally rolled in to provide maximum adhesion. The system can be applied throughout the year (unless freezing or tropical downpour!), and is especially beneficial in more rural environments, where it can blend sympathetically to the natural surroundings.
