Resin Bonded Surfacing
Our resin bonded aggregate systems are especially popular in the decorative market, as we are able to offer a wide range of colours and aggregate type - check also our Bituminous Bonded Gravel section. The system is hand applied and requires dry conditions, and lends itself ideally to smaller sites and driveways, and where a very neat, sometimes colourful appearance is a prerequisite.
The aggregates are 100% bound into the resin surfacing, any loose swept up and removed from site. The resin materials are extremely hard wearing and require no maintenance.
The resin bonded surface is a relatively thin layer, not usually more than 2-3mm (depending on aggregate selection), and we would expect to lay it on a clean and structurally sound initial surface.
