Milestone
Milestone is a new economic long term surfacing system designed for farm drives, estate roads and car parks, yards and service tracks or any areas where tarmac is not an essential requirement.
It is a totally natural, porous surfacing system created without the use of tar or bitumen. The Milestone system combines specially graded aggregates with interconnecting voids and cementitious fines. The unique vibration system employed ensures penetration and integration of the fines throughout the matrix. The surface is rolled and shaped to produce an attractive and stable surface.
Milestone will withstand onerous traffic loadings at a cost substantially below traditional tarmac surfaces. Check some of our case studies for some good examples of its use.
